The Blue Hoarding Project's end product is a 67m long mural located on The Streatham High Road in Streatham SW16. Many groups within the Streatham community joined in with the creative process of the project. I produced the design using Photoshop and Illustrator, which was influenced by drawings made by children from local primary schools in Streatham. Many of their drawings included Streatham Common and "Kite Day", which takes place on the common once a year, so this became the focus of my design.

To deliver the project, individuals from the community joined me in painting the design onto the hoarding.

I was commissioned by the organisation Art Clubbers and Streatham Festival in order to produce a colourful mural that truly represented Streatham community.

I wanted to create a design that felt relevant and reflective of Streatham lifestyle, and the people living there.

The design is up until 2021!
